In 2026, the Florida Blue Center for Health Care Quality is relaunching under new leadership with a renewed emphasis on meaningful, measurable improvements in health and health care.
Building on the Center’s foundation and longstanding partnership with Florida Blue, this next chapter will support interdisciplinary work that advances quality, strengthens care delivery, and responds to evolving health needs across the state.

Health Care Quality & Outcomes Advancing research and initiatives focused on the quality, safety, effectiveness, and outcomes of care.
Health Care Delivery & Access Examining how care is organized and delivered, with attention to access, coordination, and patient-centered care.
Health Care Workforce & Systems Understanding how workforce, organizational, and system-level factors shape care delivery and outcomes.
Innovation & Improvement Using research, data, technology, and emerging approaches to identify opportunities to strengthen care and support better decision-making.
working across disciplines
Improving health outcomes requires perspectives from across disciplines. The Florida Blue Center creates opportunities to connect expertise from the UF College of Nursing with colleagues across the University, including the College of Medicine, College of Public Health and Health Professions, College of Pharmacy, and other schools, colleges and programs.
Through research, collaboration, education, and dissemination, the Center seeks to generate knowledge that can inform practice, policy and decision-making across health and healthcare.
